Rajasthan Cabinet approves 33 percent reservation for women in police force ANN


Rajasthan Cabinet Decision: The cabinet of Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan has taken many big decisions. In which work will be done rapidly on women empowerment, specially abled people and elderly welfare. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa said that before the assembly elections, in ‘Apna Agrani Rajasthan Sankalp Patra-2023’, we had promised to recruit at least 33 percent women in the police force, giving priority to women’s safety. The proposal to amend the Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1989 has been approved.

A notification will be issued soon by the Personnel Department in this regard. This decision will provide more employment opportunities to women in the state and the representation of women in Rajasthan Police will increase. The police will be able to work with more sensitivity in matters related to women.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that while giving relief to the Chief Minister’s pensioners, an additional 5 percent allowance was announced for pensioners between 70 and 75 years of age and family pensioners. Now, approval has been given to replace Rule 54B of Rajasthan Civil Service Pension Rules, 1996.

Solar energy project to be set up in Ramgarh of JaisalmerNo

Minister Jogaram Patel said that the state government is constantly making efforts to make the state self-reliant in the field of energy by increasing power generation. Approvals for land allocation were given for 3 thousand 150 MW solar power projects. He said that a 3000 MW solar power project based on crystalline technology with tracker will be set up in Ramgarh-1, a sub-division tehsil of Jaisalmer district.

A total of 6877.66 hectares of land will be allotted for this project under the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Land Allotment for Setting Up Power Plants Based on Renewable Energy Sources) Rules, 2007. Apart from this, a proposal for allotment of 300 hectares of land in Fatehgarh tehsil of Jaisalmer district for the 150 MW solar power project has also been approved.
